About HBCU Campus Life

Updated October 12, 2026

HBCU Campus Life is an independent publication about the people, traditions, history and student experiences surrounding historically Black colleges and universities. Our coverage includes campus developments, Greek life, alumni achievements, cultural events and source-linked videos.

What readers will find

School reference pages provide sourced historical context. News features summarize attributed reporting, while original articles offer commentary on its significance. Sights & Sounds directs readers to videos hosted by their original creators. Dates distinguish current announcements from historical features and completed events.

Our independence

We are not an official university, conference or Greek-letter organization website. Inclusion does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or a partnership. Athletic conference directories are one way of organizing school references; conference membership does not by itself establish HBCU status.

Support and advertising

Reader support helps sustain the publication. The site includes Google AdSense code; ad display depends on Google’s approval and availability. Our separate Support page links to Stripe. Support does not purchase favorable coverage.
